Contents
We will learn Galois cohomology and study a cohomological approach to class field theory of local
and global fields. Class field theory is one of the central parts of modern algebraic number theory.

Recommended previous knowledge
LA I and II, Algebra, Commutative Algebra. For the advanced parts a basic knowledge of local and
global fields is useful, but we will recall the underlying algebraic number theory in the talks.
