An introduction to chromatic homotopy theory, a major organising principle in stable homotopy
theory. We will cover Thom spectra, complex cobordism, Quillen's theorem, the Landweber exact
functor theorem, the Conner-Floyd isomorphism, the height filtration on the category of spectra
