Contents We introduce the basic concepts in derived algebraic geometry—such as animated rings, derived schemes, derived algebraic stacks, and quasi-coherent modules—and discuss their basic properties. This course aims to discuss an algebraicity result of Weil restrictions.
Literature The algebraicity result on Weil restrictions is based on joint work with Adeel Khan and David Rydh.
I will write lecture notes. Background literature includes "Spectral Algebraic Geometry" (Lurie), and "A study in derived algebraic geometry" (Gaitsgory & Rozenblyum), and "Homotopical algebraic geometry" (Toën & Vezzosi).
Recommended previous knowledge Basics of algebraic geometry and some infinity-category theory.
