Contents
The goal of the seminar is to learn about geometric measure theory and how to use it to obtain minimal submanifolds and to study their singularities. The topic touches aspects of geometric analysis and applied mathematics with strong connections to metrics of positive scalar curvature.

Recommended previous knowledge
The seminar addresses to advanced master students and PhD students. We will require:

Solid knowledge in Riemannianincluding second fundamental form, mean curvature, mininmal submanifolds in arbitrary dimension and codimension inside Riemannian manifolds
Measure theory (solid knowledge)
