Non-Archimedean Analytic Geometry II Semester SoSe 2018 Lecturer Prof. Dr. Klaus Kuennemann Type of course (Veranstaltungsart) Vorlesung Contents We continue our introduction to non-archimedean analytic geometry. We present the approach by Berkovich developed in his book 'Spectral theory and analytic geometry over non-archimedean fields'. We will study affinoid analytic spaces and introduce general non-archimedean analytic spaces. If time permits we will study non-archimedean analytic curves, i.e. non-archimedean analytic spaces of dimension one, in more detail. The course 'Algebraic Geometry II' complements this course in a nice way. Recommended previous knowledge This course builds heavily upon the course 'Non-Archimedean Analytic geometry I'. We will also require some knowledge about Algebraic Geometry which usually will be recalled without proofs in the course.
