Contents We will cover several topics in classical homotopy theory, e.g. the Hurewicz theorem, Eilenberg-Maclane spaces and we will calculate some higher homotopy groups of spheres.
Literature Typed lecture notes will be provided
Recommended previous knowledge Even though the course is the continuation of algebraic topology I-III, we will only require familiarity with fundamental groups and basic knowledge of higher homotopy groups and homology groups.

Additional comments Every other week there will an exercise class Thursday 10-12 in M009.
