Contents
The aim of the seminar consists in introducing the notion of schemes, that is the modern way to define algebraic varieties. Will do this following parts of the book of Eisenbud and Harris, which proceeds a lot through examples.

Recommended previous knowledge
It is recommended to have followed the lecture on commutative algebra.
