Evolutionsgleichungen Semester SoSe 2021 Lecturer Prof. Dr. Harald Garcke Type of course (Veranstaltungsart) Seminar Contents Im Seminar werden Evolutionsgleichungen studiert die auf Anfangswertprobleme für gewöhnliche und partielle Differentialgleichungen führen. Insbesondere werden Anwendungen aus der Mathematischen Biologie, der Strömungsmechanik und der Theorie der Phasenübergänge studiert. The seminar deals with evolution equations which lead to initial value problems for ordinary or partial differential equations. In particular, applications in mathematical biology, in fluid mechanics and in the theory of phase transitions will be studied. The talks can be in English or in German.
