Contents
Last year has seen a spectacular progress in homotopy theory with the resolution of the last 1977
conjecture of Ravenel, namely the disprove of the telescope conjecture by Schlank, Burglund, Hahn
et. al. A core part of the argument is a fine understanding of commutative algebras in T(n)-local
spectra. This seminar is devoted to understanding some of this, namely the generalization to this
context of the classical "Nullstellensatz" of David Hilbert.
