Contents This lecture course continues the Algebraic Topology I from WS2025/26. We will introduce cohomological functors and additional algebraic structures one them like multiplications. After the construction of examples we turn to computational methods. We discuss universal coefficients and Kuenneth formulas and spectral sequences. These methods will be applied to calculate the cohomology of total spaces of fibre bundles in terms of the cohomology of the base and the fibre.
We finally consider the theory of characteristic classes, and in particular, Chern classes of complex vector bundles.
Literature will be given during the course, but the the classical books by Spanier, Milnor-Stasheff or Hatcher are a good start to read.
